Be Bold, Sip Brite

In 2023, Brite Water approached us for a brand refresh. As a subsidiary of Winnipeg's Little Brown Jug brewery, they wanted to highlight their sustainable practices and local roots.

From sourcing to production to packaging, Brite Water’s process is designed to minimize waste and keep the environment healthy.

“We have questions around a marketing strategy, our brand identity and narrative.”

After a Connection Call with Brite Water's Co-Founder, Kristin, we understood their needs:

Refresh Brite Water's identity to better reflect its core values and increase market appeal.

Discovering Market Opportunities

We started with a detailed assessment phase using customer surveys and one-on-one interviews.

Here’s what we found:

These insights guided us to create a brand strategy that resonated with their core audience and emphasized local and environmental benefits.

Crafting a New Brand Identity

We developed a comprehensive brand positioning statement, story, audience experience principles, key messages, and tagline.

Brand Story Theme
A Brite Water box floats vividly on vibrant blue pool water, symbolizing the brand's commitment to freshness and sustainability in their sparkling water offerings.

We crafted key messages for Brite Water to ensure consistent and effective communication across all marketing channels.

We identified three key principles:

  1. Communicate Quality: Consistent messaging about Brite Water's high quality.
  2. Be Engaging: Create a brand that connects with the audience.
  3. Have a Clear Mission: Emphasize the brand's commitment to sustainability and local production.

Armed with these 3 messaging pillars, we crafted a series of short and long-form key messages to help communicate the good that comes when you sip Brite Water.

“Tapping into the same technology used by your local brewery to create bold, bubbly drinks.”
Key Message Example
Two deck chairs featuring the Brite Water branding placed outside a commercial building. The first chair has a yellow fabric with the word "Brite" and "Water" printed in large, vertical text, while the second chair in teal displays a gentle reminder: "There for your britest moments."

Visual Transformation

We proposed three visual directions, and the chosen one emphasized a clean, modern design with a dynamic colour palette inspired by natural ingredients and the sparkling quality of the water.

A vertical sign attached to a wire street fence with the words 'SIP BRITE HERE' in bold white letters on a blue gradient background, promoting Brite Water in an urban setting.

This new visual identity included:

A Sparkling Success

The refreshed brand helped Brite Water attract a broader audience and strengthen its market presence. The new visual identity and messaging led to increased sales and enhanced brand loyalty.

Brite Water's transformation with Little Ghost Creative shows the power of strategic branding aligned with consumer values. Our approach rejuvenated Brite Water's image, positioning it as a leader in sustainable beverages.
